PBR Apache's Spirit in the Sky is precisely the female her name details from a long line of distinguished championship alpacas. A stunningly gorgeous female physically with a spirit to match brings a lot to a breeding program. PBR Apache's Spirit in the Sky's sire, Apache Gentlemen's pedigree, is packed (on both sides) with outstanding appaloosas and harlequins. His sire, Windspun WSA Patriotic Gentleman, is an appaloosa as well. He's a blue ribbon-winning male with beautiful fleece and strong conformation. Patriotic Gentleman's sire is the multi-champion Hobby Horse Farm Great Expectations, making the well-known SA Peruvian Black Epic grandsire. Apache's dam, Excelsior's High Voltage Tazer, has an equally impressive background. She's the harlequin daughter of two well-known appaloosas - NWA/Hearsum Paulo and Cookies and Cream.
Bright Water Ranch's Espresso, Spirit's dam, was a lovely Bay Black female. She was the daughter of VF Yahoo Too and BMR Sienna, daughter of Polaris, a very successful male in the alpaca industry. Espresso had a beautiful bright fleece with nice crimp and displayed a decent phenotype. Her bloodlines included recognizable names such as Peruvian Hemingway, Polaris, Peruvian Felix and Snowmass Snowmaster's Shiraz and she, herself, was in the top 25% for crimp. She proved that she could produce the ever-so-rare Calico Harlequin/Appaloosa in her first offspring, Rare Gem Whole Latte Love (exported to Switzerland) and her second, PBR Apache's Spirit in the Sky (check out her page!)
PBR Divine World's Bellagio (Our choice for Spirit's 2022 maiden breeding)- Males of this caliber are rare, especially when such superior genetics for fleece production is packaged in a phenotype this outstanding. This Snowmass Divine Love, grandson, will improve anyone's breeding program, including ours. Superior fineness, micron-adjusted uniformity (17.4 afd!), extreme brightness, bundling beyond belief and blanket extension is why he took Champion at the 2020 AOA National Show and Champion at the 2021 Paoba Fleece Show.
