Pattern written in her bloodline — quiet on the surface, explosive in the cria.

Sabrina is a black-based, multi-architecture female whose phenotype expresses one of the most complex pigment structures at Plateau Breeze Ranch. Her foundation is true eumelanin — a black-root base that anchors every tone she carries, even when her fleece presents warm or diluted zones. This dark foundation gives her pattern expression clarity, depth, and stability, making her one of the most genetically valuable patterned females in our herd.

Sabrina’s architecture is multi-layered: she carries black-based structure, harlequin-architecture influence, appaloosa-leaning mottling, and high-expression pattern zones. Unlike true harlequins, her pattern does not cycle; instead, she expresses a stable, structured, multi-architecture phenotype that blends dilution, mottling, and dark-root strength. Her warm topknot and undertone do not change her genetic base — Sabrina remains fully black-based, with dilution masking her true pigment foundation.

Her offspring reinforce her architecture: Sabrina can produce true black, blue-black, black-root patterned, and high-contrast multi-tone crias, depending on the sire. This versatility makes her a cornerstone female for producing both cold-tone and patterned outcomes. She is one of the rare females who can bridge lanes — capable of contributing to Black-Based Patterned, Patterned Heritage, and multi-architecture breeding goals.

Sabrina stands as a structural female in our program: black-based, multi-architecture, expressive, and genetically powerful — a foundation dam whose pigment depth and pattern capability continue shaping the future of PBR’s patterned lanes.

Sabina is planned for pairing with Striking Midnight to reinforce her black-base and deepen cold-tone expression. She is also considered for McLaren to explore blue-black patterned outcomes, and for Brace to amplify her multi-architecture pattern potential.
