ILLINI’S Artesian Spring carries a classic Confetti-line harlequin/appaloosa genetic foundation, strengthened by pigment-instability lines from Codi Peruvian Jolie and the deep-color Socosani influence. As a direct daughter of Vintage Peruvian Confetti, she inherits the Confetti hallmark: strong melanocyte-migration variability, dilution cycling, and the ability to express multiple color zones even when born light. Her dam, SASA Sara Smile, adds the Socosani bay-black depth and the Codi Jolie dilution modifiers, a combination known for producing offspring that fade, shift, and reveal pattern over time.
